Eton — son offered. We registered when he was 7. The journey to that letter was years of investment. Multi Pack 1 + 2 + all 6 Test Packs were the structured backbone. The bespoke Eton entrance exam was the final hurdle. He got the offer in January. Life-changing.
St Paul's Girls' is in a different league of competitive — around 1 in 6 girls who apply gets a place. We used the Multi Pack 1 and the harder Test Packs 4-6. The English creative writing prep was critical. She got an offer in January. I still can't quite believe it.
Westminster offered my son a place — barely believe it as I type this. Westminster is one of the most academic schools in the country. We did everything: Multi Pack 1, Multi Pack 2, all 6 Test Packs. The Maths in particular was the closest match to Westminster's bespoke written paper we found.

Twin boys, twice the worry! Both used the Multi Pack and both got into grammar. Couldn't be more proud — and couldn't have done it without these papers.
What I liked was the structure — start with Pack 1 and build up. My boy could see his own progress, which kept him motivated through the whole thing.
Sacred Heart parent here — daughter started in September and we needed to catch up fast. The videos are what made the difference. Worth every penny.
Tried to do this without a paid resource and was getting nowhere. Two months on the Multi Pack and we were sorted.
Honestly thought the price was steep at first but having seen the breadth of content I'd say it's a bargain. Probably equivalent to 5–6 hours of in-person tuition.
Lumen Christi got our son. We did about 8 months of prep mostly through these papers. The maths videos especially were exactly what he needed.
Wee bit nervous about online learning but it suited my daughter down to the ground. She could work at her own pace and rewind anything she didn't catch.
We started in May P6 — gave us a full 18 months. Loads of time to work through everything without panic. Recommend to anyone whose child has the time.
Bangor Grammar offer — over the moon. Used the Multi Pack with our boy from spring of P6. The variety of questions on each paper kept things fresh.
Single mum here, working full time. Couldn't afford private tuition. ExamTutor was a lifeline — the videos are like having a tutor in the room when you can't be there.
Just bought the Multi Pack for our daughter going into P7. Looks really comprehensive — going to start her gently over the summer.
Working through Test Pack 2 at the moment — wee bit harder than Pack 1, which is good for stretching her. Pleased so far.
We had used another provider but switched after seeing the video explanations on this one. Night and day difference for our wee fella.

Daughter has dyslexia and the structured nature of these papers really suits her. Being able to pause and rewind the video is invaluable.
Just buying ahead — going to start prep over Christmas. Plenty of time to work through everything.
Larne Grammar is our target. Used Pack 1 for a baseline and we're doing Pack 2 now. So far so good.
I'm a teacher myself and I'm impressed with the quality of the questions and the way the videos explain method, not just the answer.
Down here in Down — not many tutoring options nearby. ExamTutor is perfect for rural NI families.
Tests next weekend. My son's done all 12 papers and feels ready. Whatever happens, we know we've done our best.
Just sat the first paper today. He felt the prep had him spot on for what came up. Fingers crossed.
Done and dusted. My daughter walked out of yesterday's paper smiling — high praise from a P7!
Spent the last 6 months working through the Multi Pack. He felt fully prepared for both papers. Now we wait.
St Louis is the target and we've now sat both papers. Won't know until January, but he came out confident.
Already got the Multi Pack ready for our P6 in a year's time — older brother used it and got into grammar.
Test done. Whatever the result, the prep was first-class. The videos especially — daughter watched some of them on the way to the test that morning.
Just thanking you. Whatever happens with results, we felt supported by the resource the whole way through.
Both papers sat. Hard but fair. The Multi Pack covered everything that came up — no surprises.
Found the maths the hardest but ExamTutor's videos broke it down beautifully. We're confident on this one.
Wee bit emotional today — daughter sat her last SEAG paper. Now we wait. Resource has been brilliant throughout.
Worth saying — my daughter was anxious leading up to the test but practising on these papers calmed her right down. Not just academic prep, it's confidence prep.
Two months out — going through the final Test Pack now. He's mocking himself at home. Brilliant set-up.
Got the result yesterday — top scores. Crying tears of joy. Thank you SO much. Worth every penny.

Results came back and I cried. After all the worry, our daughter scored well above her target school's threshold.
Just got the letter. Friends' Lisburn offer. Worked through the Multi Pack from May P6 to October P7. The process worked.
Score above 110 — way above what we needed. The resource is exceptional value for what you get.
Applied with confidence after our results. Thornhill is the target. Whichever school takes her — proud as punch.
Three of my kids have now used ExamTutor for SEAG prep. All three have got grammar offers. The pattern speaks for itself.
Result was in and we got a strong score. The structure of progressing from Pack 1 through to 3 really worked for us.
Got the result and the offer last week. Sitting here still in disbelief. We did good.

Tough exam, decent result. Couldn't have done it without these papers — particularly the video explanations.
Both my daughters used the Multi Pack — one last year, one this year. Both successful. ExamTutor is our family secret weapon.
Felt the test was tougher than recent years but the result came back well. Whatever school he ends up at, we're set.
Offer day was today. Aquinas! Could not be happier with how the year went and how well the prep served us.
Offers came in. Now buying the Multi Pack for our P6 starting prep this summer. Continuing the tradition.
Sullivan Upper offer received. Two years of prep on these papers — completely worthwhile.
Older brother got grammar last year, time for the wee one. Bought the Multi Pack today.
First time around with us. Offers day was a celebration. The resource gave him the prep he needed.
Starting earlier this time — bought the Multi Pack to spread the work out over 12 months.
Offer for Methody received. The video walkthroughs were everything. So clear, so patient.
Younger sister starting prep now. Older sister was the trial run — she's at grammar now. Different child, same prep.
I was sceptical about online video learning for an 11-year-old but it works brilliantly. Engaging, age-appropriate, effective.
Honestly the best resource I've come across in NI. We tried two others first — both were okay. ExamTutor was clearly the best.
Offer received last month for Sacred Heart. Daughter is delighted, we're proud, and ExamTutor played a big part in getting there.
Older brother sat last year — passed comfortably. Younger lad starting now. Multi Pack again.

Just bought the Multi Pack. Older brother is in St Mary's, hoping the wee one follows. Starting prep over the summer.
Working through Test Pack 1 over summer. Daughter actually enjoys it which is huge — felt like a chore with previous resources we'd tried.
Got the Multi Pack in July, working steadily through. Plenty of time before November.
Two months out from the test. Done Packs 1–3, moving to 4–6 now. He's feeling confident, which is what we wanted at this stage.
Bought for our daughter starting P7. Want to do this properly — the resource gives us a clear plan.
Doing the second pass of the Multi Pack now — going back over weaker areas with the videos. So thorough.
Did Pack 1 in early summer, Pack 2 in late summer. Steady progress. Daughter actually asks to do papers — never thought I'd say that.
Maths is the wee bit weaker — extra practice on Pack 3 maths section now. The videos for those exact questions are brilliant.
Catholic family, not many local prep options. ExamTutor is universal — works for everyone. P7 child very settled with the routine.
Loving the Multi Pack approach — different difficulty levels for different stages of prep. Smart design.
Already done Packs 1–4. Two months to go. He's flying through them. Confidence growing.
Test 9 weeks away. Final preparation stage now. Multi Pack covers absolutely every angle.
Counting down the days. Daughter has done all 12 papers, including timed mocks at home. ExamTutor has been our anchor.
Both papers done. Tough, but daughter feels she did okay. Whatever happens — proud of her, proud of the work.
Sat the test, came home smiling. That's the best you can hope for at this stage. Wonderful resource for getting her ready.
Just stopping by to thank you. Whatever the results, the journey was made manageable by ExamTutor. Worth every penny.
Both papers done — he felt some questions were near-identical to ones he'd seen in practice. The format match is spot on.
Test sat. Daughter felt fully prepared. Now we wait for January. Whatever happens, we did our absolute best with this.
Came out of paper 2 saying 'easier than the practice papers'. Music to my ears! Result of good prep.
Massive thanks to ExamTutor. Three months of focused work, all driven by your materials. Now we wait.
He felt confident going in, felt good coming out. That's the win as far as I'm concerned.
Honestly the most stressful weekend of our parenting life — but the prep was so thorough it took the edge off. Thank you.
Tough exam but daughter felt prepared. We've used ExamTutor exclusively. Highly recommend.

Decent result. Bangor Grammar offer is what we're hoping for. Application submitted.
Score was excellent — daughter delighted. We're applying to Sacred Heart and St Catherine's. Whichever it is, we're celebrating.
Top quartile result. Three years of dreaming, one year of focused prep with ExamTutor. Worth it.
Result is in and well above what was needed. Working on which grammar to apply to first now. Brilliant outcome.
We got the result. Real strong score. We're applying to Antrim Grammar — fingers crossed.
Three children done with SEAG now — all three with ExamTutor. All three got their first-choice grammar. Best £85 I've ever spent (three times!).
Starting prep for our daughter heading into P7 next year. Older brother used the Multi Pack last year — total no-brainer for us.
Got our result. Just over what we needed. Phew. Recommend ExamTutor without hesitation.
Bangor Grammar offer received last week. Two years on these papers — couldn't have done it without. Worth every single penny.
I'm 11 and I sat the SEAG. The videos really helped me, especially the maths ones. I got a good score!
Friends' Lisburn offer secured. Bought the Multi Pack May P6, used it consistently for 18 months. Total game-changer.
Birmingham KEHS still uses CEM-style entrance for their senior school and finding accurate prep was a nightmare until we found these. The mixed sections are exactly what KEHS throws at them. My daughter went in feeling ready, came out smiling. Place offered.
Habs Boys' 11+ is brutal — really brutal — and the CEM-style mock practice here gave my son the exam stamina he needed. Worth every penny of the £70.
We did Multi Pack 1 over the summer holidays in Year 5, then Multi Pack 2 from October. By the time the Edgbaston test came around she'd done enough timed practice that 45-minute sections weren't a shock. She got a place.
Good resource overall. My only quibble is I'd love more vocab drilling specifically — but the video explanations are honestly excellent. Got KE Camp Hill girls.
Princethorpe's entrance is CEM-style and our local tutor wanted £45/hour. We did this instead and saved a fortune. Daughter starts in September.
KES Birmingham wasn't easy to find specific prep for. ExamTutor's CEM materials matched the style really well — non-verbal reasoning in particular helped our son a lot.
Solihull School uses a CEM-style assessment and these papers were a great match. My son particularly liked being able to rewind the video walkthroughs when he got something wrong.
I'm Y6 and just got into Warwick School! The non verbal reasoning was my weakest bit at first but watching the videos made the patterns click. Mum got me Test Pack 3 and 4. Thank you!!
Both my children have used these now (one for KEHS in 2024, the second sitting Edgbaston this year). Materials get updated which I really appreciate.
The Multi Pack is good value vs buying separately. I would've liked a few more sample comprehension passages, but the maths and reasoning content is strong. Got KE Camp Hill.
Rochester Grammar uses CEM and finding decent practice papers is genuinely difficult. These were the most realistic we tried — and we tried Bond, CGP, Atom. The mixed timing in the papers matched the actual test format.
Sir Joseph Williamson's Math School is CEM-style and known for being tough on maths. My son worked through Test Packs 1-3 in Year 5 and Test Packs 4-6 over summer. He's now in Year 7 there.
Rainham Mark uses CEM and we'd been searching for honest practice material for months. These papers were a turning point. 5 stars.
Fort Pitt Girls Grammar takes a CEM-style entrance and we couldn't find anything that felt like the real thing. ExamTutor's were spot on — same multi-section structure.
Chatham Grammar Girls test was tough but daughter got a place. Pack 4 felt slightly easier than the others but overall a really solid set of materials. 4 stars for that small inconsistency.
I'm in Year 7 at Rainham Mark now! The bit I worried about most was the time pressure — half way through the practice papers I started watching the clock less and just doing the questions. That tip from one of the videos was gold.
Sir Jo's is intense. My twins both used these (one took the standalone Test Packs, the other did the Multi Pack — different learning styles). Both got in. Two for two.
I tutor 11+ in Medway and I now point parents at ExamTutor's CEM materials as supplementary practice. The video explanations save me time in sessions because kids can review at home.
Holcombe wasn't our first choice but we were thrilled she got in. The non-verbal sections were her weakness and the videos broke down the codes and analogies brilliantly.
Single mum here. £70 was significant for me but the alternative tutor wanted £35 a week. Daughter got Chatham Girls. Best money I've spent.
I'm 11 and got into Sir Jo's Math School. The maths in the practice papers was harder than school maths which was good because the real test was harder too. The videos helped me see how to work backwards from the answers.
Decent papers. We supplemented with Bond books too. Probably could've gotten by with just ExamTutor in hindsight. Daughter got Fort Pitt.
City of London Girls is fiercely competitive and CEM-style. We started Year 5 and worked through the Multi Pack steadily. Got the offer in February. Couldn't recommend enough.
CLSG entrance prep is overwhelming and the CGP books just weren't quite right. These felt closer to the actual exam format. Daughter offered a place from a state primary — proud parent moment.
Eltham College for boys uses CEM and my son worked through the materials at his own pace. He found the verbal reasoning vocab section the toughest but the video breakdowns showed him the strategies. Now at Eltham.
Hi I'm 11! I got into Eltham College! I liked watching the videos because the man (or woman?) explains things really clearly and I could pause them when I needed to think about it.
Ibstock Place School uses CEM-style assessment. We chose ExamTutor over a tutor and saved hundreds. Daughter starts in September. Very pleased.
St Paul's Girls is in a different league of competitive. I wasn't sure anything would help but the timed mixed-section practice was exactly what we needed. She got an offer (still pinching myself).
Long-form review here because this matters to me. We sat both SPGS and Habs Girls — different formats but both CEM-style elements. My daughter is dyslexic, which adds another layer of complexity to timed reading sections. The video explanations were transformative because she could replay difficult concepts as many times as she needed, in her own time, without the pressure of a tutor watching her. She got into both. SPGS in the end. I cannot put into words how grateful I am.
Habs Boys' entrance is at a different level. We did Multi Pack 1 and 2 plus the test packs. He got in. Hard work but worth it.
Habs Monmouth is a slightly different format but CEM-style. We're in Wales so options for tutors are limited. ExamTutor was a lifesaver. Daughter at Habs Monmouth.
I tutor in central London for 11+ entry and use ExamTutor materials as homework between sessions. Parents love that they can see their child's progress. Highly recommend for any CEM-style school.
Thomas's Battersea is famously competitive. We started prep too late (Y6 January). Was it stressful? Yes. Did ExamTutor's intensive Multi Pack help us catch up? Also yes. He got an offer. I was a wreck on results day.
I got into St Pauls and I cried when I found out. The videos taught me how to read questions properly — sometimes I was missing the small important words. Thank you for the explanations they really helped.
Guildford High is a CEM Select school and is properly competitive. Materials matched the actual test very closely. Daughter offered a place — couldn't be more pleased.
Guildford High's 11+ caught us out two years ago with our older daughter (she didn't get in). For our younger daughter we used ExamTutor from Y5 and she got the offer this year. Lesson learned: prep matters.
Worth School uses CEM and isn't widely covered by other resources. ExamTutor's papers were the closest match we could find to the real format. Son starts at Worth in September.
St John's Leatherhead is CEM Select. We did Multi Pack 1 over the summer holidays — really worked for us as a family because we could fit it around days out. He passed. Brilliant.
Dunottar in Reigate uses CEM Select format. The video explanations meant my son could work somewhat independently while I was at work — game-changing for a working parent.
Year 6 student here, got into Worth! I really liked the practice papers because they came in a folder I could work through. The videos helped me understand how to do non-verbal reasoning which I thought I was rubbish at!
I'm 11 and I'm starting St John's Leatherhead in September!! The verbal reasoning was my hard one but after doing the practice papers I got better and better. The free practice paper helped me see if I'd like the videos first.
Worth School was our top choice for our son who's quiet and academic. The mixed-format papers built his confidence gradually because he could see his improvement on each timed paper. Offered a place in January.
Colyton Grammar is one of the top state grammars in the country and very competitive. CEM format. ExamTutor was the best resource we found by a country mile. Place offered.
Exeter School is CEM Select and we live just outside Exeter. Daughter took the entrance exam in November and got a place. The Multi Pack worked brilliantly for us.
Colyton catchment is huge and competition is fierce. We're an out-of-catchment family which makes it even harder. ExamTutor's CEM-style papers gave my daughter the edge. So happy.
Year 6 here, got into Exeter School. The Maths bits were okay but Verbal Reasoning was hard at first because of all the words I didn't know. The vocab videos helped a lot.
We moved from Bristol specifically to be in Colyton's wider catchment. Couldn't fail at this point! ExamTutor's papers were absolutely critical for prep. Son got the offer.
Exeter School entrance went well, daughter got a place. The materials are excellent for CEM Select schools. I'd love a printable summary sheet of each topic — that's the only thing missing for my visual learner.
I tutor in Exeter and recommend ExamTutor's CEM materials to families targeting Colyton and Exeter School. The video explanations save my tuition time and parents see real progress.
Newcastle High for Girls is CEM Select and we'd been searching for accurate practice papers for months. ExamTutor's were the closest match. Daughter got in. So relieved.
Royal Grammar School Newcastle (RGS) is CEM-style and seriously competitive. The videos for the non-verbal sections were brilliant for our son who didn't have a 'feel' for the patterns initially. He got in.
Newcastle School for Boys (NSB) uses CEM. We used the Multi Pack and supplemented with the test packs 4-6 in the final stretch. Son got the offer and is thrilled.
I'm Y7 at RGS Newcastle now. The CEM exam was really fast and I was worried about running out of time. After doing the timed practice papers I learned to skip questions I didn't know and come back. That tip saved me.
Newcastle High Girls is highly selective. We didn't use a tutor — just ExamTutor's CEM materials. Daughter got the offer. We saved literally thousands.
NSB is small and the entrance exam felt like a bit of an unknown until we started prep. ExamTutor's format match was reassuring. Place offered, son starts Year 7.
I tutor in the North East and RGS is one of the schools my families target. ExamTutor's CEM-style papers are now my standard recommendation alongside my own materials.
Both daughters used these for Newcastle High Girls entry (one in 2024, one this year). Materials feel updated each year which I appreciate as a returning customer.
AKS Lytham uses CEM and we live just up the coast. Daughter offered a place at AKS. The practice papers were spot-on for the actual exam format.
Kirkham Grammar uses CEM Select. We're a working family — both me and my husband — and the video format meant our son could prep when we were at work. He got in. Absolute lifesaver.
The King's School Chester uses CEM Select. ExamTutor was recommended by another parent at school. Now I'm passing on the recommendation. Son at King's Chester.
Hi I just started at AKS Lytham!!! The 11+ was scary but the practice papers helped me feel ready. My favourite was Test Pack 4 because I got better and better at it.
Kirkham Grammar's entrance is CEM-style. Son got in and the practice paper format was a really close match to the actual test. The video explanations are what made the difference.
The Grange School (Cheshire) uses CEM Select and good materials are hard to find for this size of school. ExamTutor delivered. 4 stars because I'd love a slightly cheaper option for one-pack-only buyers, but otherwise excellent.
King's Chester is competitive locally. We did all 8 packs over Year 5 and the summer before Year 6. Son got the offer in January. Worth every penny.
Harrogate Ladies' College uses CEM and finding accurate practice material was difficult. ExamTutor sorted that out beautifully. Daughter starts in Year 7.
Hymers College in Hull uses CEM Select. We had no idea what to expect from the entrance exam initially. ExamTutor's format match prepared our son brilliantly. Place offered.
I'm Year 7 at Hymers and it's amazing here! The mixed-format practice papers were exactly what the real exam was like. My maths got faster and my reasoning got more accurate. So thank you!

I'm a Headteacher at a London prep school. I'm not officially allowed to recommend specific resources but I do tell parents privately that ExamTutor's Independent papers are excellent supplementary practice for our pupils targeting top senior schools.
Final review from us. Five children, five Independent 11+ offers (Eton, Westminster, SPGS, Marlborough, and St Paul's Boys). All five used ExamTutor across the last seven years. There is no other resource I would recommend more highly. Thank you for being there for our family.
Westminster — son offered. Materials are excellent. 4 stars only because a couple of NVR questions in Test Pack 3 felt a touch easier than the actual bespoke Westminster maths paper. Otherwise faultless.
City of London Girls — daughter offered place. The Multi Pack was thorough. One minor wish: more practice on creative writing prompts specifically. But this is the best Independent 11+ resource we used.
