While it is not academically selective overall, Burntwood does offer a number of selective places based on aptitude in Performing Arts (Dance, Drama, Music) and uses the Wandsworth Year 6 Test for fair banding.
✅ Year 7 Admissions Criteria
Burntwood admits 270 girls into Year 7. The places are allocated as follows:
🔹 1. Fair Banding (Majority of Places)
- All applicants are required to take the Wandsworth Year 6 Test, used for banding purposes.
- Applicants are placed into one of five ability bands.
